It's the end of the world as we know it!!! ... Well, at least for this contest in the NSK world. One of our newest members posted a contest, "Fun with Armageddon." I'm sure what he had in mind was the pre-Apocalypse fight-for-your-life-end-of-the-world thing... but so far everyone else has posted the post-Apocalypse thing, so why not? The contest ends on the 3rd and I don't think I could make up a badass thing by then.

So, here we have some chars after the end of the world. How soon after, I dunno... couple of years, maybe? Everyone is scarred and/or maimed since then, some even dead. I figure in whatever caused the Apocalpyse freak mutations and stuff happened, and helped with the maiming and scarring. Here are a few of the survivors, hiding out somewhere.

Starting on the far left on the bed is the half-Aquain Kida, scarred various places, likely bitten on her tail and shoulder and scratched everywhere else. Here, she's very visibly pregnant, probably due in a couple months or so.

Next to her is her husband Crash who has more than his fair share of scars. He's one of those rebel fighters, fends off the mutants and whatnot. He got a nice bite wound on his neck... good thing they have a good "doctor."

The "doctor," so to speak, is Skylar. While she can probably never become a full angel (angels don't like halflings and think they're abominations), she can become a little more angel by giving up part of her mortality. To better help those, that's probably what she did. She's more intune with her angelic ablities and is a better healer for it. She, too, is pregnant, but only about 4 months.

The father and her husband is Cameron, who lost his right arm and scarred across his face in the shape of his FullForce mask. He's like the leader of the group, a rebel like Crash. He's probably got a report in his hand or something.

And lastly, we have Toni, with minimal scars because she has enough markings already! XD Here, she's not pregnant, but is already a mother to a tiger cub. Who's the father? Who knows? It seems to be a full-blooded tiger... it could have been a number of things. Most likely, the Apocolypse was coming, and some paniced tiger took her aside and raped her. But she can't hate the cub. I mean, look at it! It's breastfeeding! Oh, and if you're wondering why she's not "showing" anything naughty on her right breast... I'm guessing it's too furry or something.

Pretty nice picture, really... and the first time I've actually shaded a picture. It's not perfect, but what the hell? It was a requirement.
